Description: RESCUE A BIG WHITE RABBIT FROM A RESEARCH LABORATORY
HAPPY is one of 7 rabbits we rescued from a Queensland research laboratory. In Qld lab rabbits can be brought in but must be killed at the end of the research. In this case the researcher had hoped to gain a pardon for the bunnies and rehome them. He was killed in a motorbike accident at the end of the research. His research partner asked the university for a pardon and they granted her permission to send the bunnies to The Rabbit Sanctuary. HAPPY loves the open run and we hope to get him a home where he will be outdoors during the day in a very big space e.g. a fenced backyard and inside at night. We would also like him to go with one of his friends, another big research bunny.
