6 Tips For Shaving Your Pubic Hair.

We all understand the struggle when it comes to shaving your pubic hair "down there". The struggle of when you can't see what the hell you are doing. Its so irritating when you are all clean and smooth to look good for your partner, and then a few hours later you are covered in razor bumps! Its even worse if you haven't shaved in months out of laziness and you have to carefully trim down the bush. I am writing this to share a few tips I have learnt over the years.
Trim long hairs before shaving.
You will save a lot of time and less risk of cutting yourself if you trim your long pubic hairs with sharp scissors before shaving.
Leave shaving till last.
Wash your hair and body first leaving shaving as the last thing you do. This will soften your skin and hair follicles, making removal easier.
Apply shaving cream.
This will help the razor smoothly glide over your skin without cutting you. If you do not have shaving cream, I have found using your feminine intimate wash also helps. You may have to reapply a few times.
Down, Side to Side, Up.
You're probably thinking right now, "what the hell is this woman on about"? Start by only shaving in the down direction, which is the following your natural hair growth. Remove all of the hair you can in the same direction. After doing this, if there are hairs that don't want to budge, try shaving from left to right. If you really need to you can then try shaving up, which is against the hair growth to catch stubborn hairs. Keep in mind you have more of a chance in cutting your skin by mistake when shaving in the up direction.
A Sharp Razor Blade
Its always best to use a new razor. I recommend using a razor with 6 blades.
Rinse with cold water after shaving to prevent razor bumps.
Most wouldn't think to do this, but surprisingly this actually helps a lot! Straight after shaving before you get out of the shower, turn on the cold water and quickly rinse over the area where you shaved.
